3. Supporting Documents

Proof of Accommodation

Immigration Declaration Form (April 2025 Update)

📋 New since April 2025: Zimbabwe Immigration introduced a mandatory Online Immigration Declaration Form for all travellers, including Category A (visa-free) nationals. You can complete it at before arrival. Completing it online significantly reduces waiting times at Victoria Falls and Harare airports. If you do not complete it in advance, you will fill it in at the immigration counter on arrival — which causes delays.

What Is a Letter of Authority?

Once your eVisa application is approved, you will receive a Letter of Authority (LoA) — a PDF document sent to the email address you provided during application. This is your proof of approved eVisa. You must:

  • Print the Letter of Authority and carry it with you
  • Present it to the immigration officer together with your passport
  • Keep a digital copy on your phone as backup
